Mandy Wright is an educator and involved citizen focused on empowering her community. As a wife, parent of three beautiful daughters, teacher, and volunteer, she has deep roots in Central Wisconsin.

Mandy has seen the need for grounded, local citizens to be involved in the political process and advocate for the best interests of our community. She is an active member of many local and state organizations including the League of Conservation Voters, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Wisconsin Farmer’s Union, Democratic Party of Marathon County, Friends of Rib Mountain, Marathon County 4H, and the YMCA. Mandy previously served on the board of directors for Family Planning Health Services. She is a proud graduate of Emerge Wisconsin, which trains Democratic women to run for office.

I’m running because I love my hometown, and more importantly, I love the people in it. Instead of partisan politics, I want to grow opportunities for people in my community and across Wisconsin, by focusing on family supporting jobs, strong public schools, and affordable healthcare.
Because when we work together, we all do better.”
— Mandy Wright

As a legislator, Mandy has served on the Small Business, Agriculture, Education, and Consumer Protection Committees. She was ranking member of Urban Education and represented on the Rural Schools Task Force. She voluntarily served on the Legislative Council Early Childhood Brain Development Committee and was a board member for the Family Impact Seminar program.

Mandy looks forward to continuing to listen to the concerns of all citizens in the 85th Assembly District and working with you to advocate for the best interests of our economy, healthcare, education, environment, and good government.
